All international students requiring a visa to study at Leeds need to take advice from their home institution before travelling. Once you are here, then advice on your visa can only be provided by appropriately trained staff in the International Student Office (www.leeds.ac.uk/international/aboutiso.htm). Academic and other staff are not allowed by law to provide such advice and information.
