Mike's lifetime innovation award
Dr Mike Woolridge, Senior Lecturer in infant feeding was speaking recently at the 'Healthy Children's 16th Annual National Breastfeeding Conference', Orlando, Florida. The organisers behind this respected international event - 'The Healthy Children Project' (US) - honoured Mike with their 'Milkshake Award', described as their "lifetime innovation" award.
The plaque records the award is: "For significant achievement to the field of breastfeeding and human lactation - The 2012 Healthy Children Innovation Award". Mike, who is also Research Lead for the Institute of Health and Social care said: The award was completely unexpected and it's very gratifying to be recognised externally."
