Highest UG applications ever
The School of Healthcare have bucked the prevailing trend of lower than average undergraduate application numbers this year with the highest ever recorded figures.
Responding to the latest figures, the Head of School, Prof Andrea Nelson commented: "The School have had the highest number of undergraduate applications on record for our undergraduate courses, this at a time when many courses are experiencing a fall in application of around 10%.
"To date we have had 5120 applications for approx 475 places - 20% higher than this period last year. This increase is encouraging news for our staff and students as the School looks to continue to attract the best students available to join our courses and maintain our reputation as one of the leading Schools in the UK."
