About Cardiovascular Care
High quality health care is patient centred. Patient-centred care is respectful of and responsive to individual patient preferences. The aim of our research is to answer questions that will support the delivery of high quality care for service users and carers living with cardiovascular disease. Our research explores the patient and carer journey through cardiac services with the aim of translating findings into health service improvement. Recent funded studies have explored service users’ and carers’ experiences of primary angioplasty, elective angioplasty and Trans aortic valve implantation. Findings from studies have been used to inform policy and practice.
