Identifying a Potential Supervisor
Within the School of Healthcare we have supervisors with a broad range of expertise. It is important that your research is supported by supervisors whose research links closely to the research you are intending to conduct. If there are no supervisors with similar research interests, it would be unlikely that we would be able to offer you a place.
At present we are particularly interested in applications from students who wish to carry out research that fits with our current research programmes. Before you apply please read our research webpages to identify whether or not your proposed study fits within our existing research programmes. You can also find information regarding individual members’ interests and expertise via our staff web pages.
If you are able to identify a suitable supervisor you should make a note of this on your application submission. We will then ensure they have the capacity to offer suitable supervision, and can provide adequate support to you in your chosen research area.
