Phd Students at the School of Healthcare
Phd Students in the School of Healthcare are at the cutting edge of exploring the needs of patients in today's NHS, with projects focusing on the information needs of patients and their families; self management of long term conditions; psychological well-being and quality of life.
A number of students are focusing upon contemporary issues in healthcare provision, such as promoting evidence-based hand hygiene practice, evaluating new models of social work / midwifery practice, changes in prescribing practices and communication regarding the MMR controversy.
As befits a centre for teaching and learning, there are also students undertaking research which addresses the important issues of nursing and midwifery education, problem solving and supervision.
If you would like to undertake postgraduate research at the School of Healthcare, application details are in the sidebar.
