What this programme is about:
Pharmaceutical Technology and Quality Assurance (PTQA) is a work based programme for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and graduates in appropriate scientific subjects. Entry criteria may be flexible if the candidate has appropriate experience and suitable employment. The overall objective of the course is to broaden and deepen the expertise and experience of pharmacists in technical specialities.
Why study this programme:
This course has been designed in collaboration with the NHS and is delivered by leading experts. The course addresses the continuing professional development needs of most production, quality control, radiopharmacy and aseptic services pharmacists. Three residential weeks ensure that there is adequate time for learning and the development of the student community. Credit accumulation allows for transfer to the Diploma or Masters level.

Modules
The Certificate level comprises: an introduction to PTQA; aseptic dispensing and preparation; and one of four options (radiopharmacy, clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, medical gas testing).
